Seiha is dependable and punctual, and his charges are reasonable. While he knows where the popular temples are that normal tourists go, you should do your own homework to make sure you do get to see what you want to see. If you have your own itinerary, Seiha is accomodating. |

This testimonial is a long time coming, but my husband and I wanted to recommend Seiha's services while you are in Siem Reap. We hired Seiha for two days over the summer and he provided us with great service. He picked us up at the airport, whisked us around to the many temples all the while adhering to our hectic schedule. He was always punctual, friendly and honest. We felt very safe while he was driving and we enjoyed learning more about his life and the life of those who live in this lovely corner of the world. He also took us to a souvenier shop that offered better prices than the markets in Thailand! We would definitely recommend Seiha to our friends! Aloha from Hawaii. :) |

I have just returned from an extremely memorable trip of Angkor Wat/ Siem Reap. One big contributors to the lovely experience are Seiha and his friend (tour guide)- Sophat Som.
Seiha is a very honest driver and also has information about his town. He is polite and suggests right spots to cover. It was great talking to him and knowing about his life in Siem Reap.I've already spoken to my friends about Seiha's efficient service and will recommend his service to all other tourists planning a trip to the kingdom! All the best Seiha :) |

We returned from Angkor in early August. This was my second visit to Angkor, I found Seiha in the internet. To start with, he was very honest in price as he already quoted the one-off price when I sent him the itinery, wheras some other driver may charge for bits and extras after you get on his car.
When we arrived at the airport, Seiha picked us up and showed us to his brother Bulong. Bulong was our driver and he drove us around for 4 days around Angkor. We actually had a very packful plan, in which for 2 days, Bulong must picked us up at 4:30 in the morning. We were so impressed that Bulong always arrived 15mins earlier. He was also very friendly with very good suggestion about the itinery and helpful.
For 5 of us, the van was really spacious and comfortbale (well,it's Mercedes Benz) even for a 2 or 3 hours drive (to Beng Malea/ banteay Srei) with very good air-conditioning (when the temperature is at around 30 and so humid).
We had a very comfy and happy trip!! thanks to Seiha and Bulong!!
I am already planning a third visit to go Angkor next year. (Yes, Angkor really worth it) So, Seiha and Bulong shall be my choice to show us around. |

Hi, everybody! I just returned home after my visit in Cambodia, and I'd like to recommend the service of my local driver Seiha. We spent together my 4-days stay at Siem Reap, and it were really happy days, visiting all the temples and other interesting places. More of that, I was lucky enough to get invitation and celebrate Khmer New Year together with Seiha and his friends - drinking beer, dancing with pretty girls, loughing till night. As to me, that holiday evening at April 14, 2009 was one of the unforgettable events during my Cambodian trip. I gladly recommend my driver and friend Seiha to everyone who is going to visit Cambodia. Thank you again, dear Seiha! |

Since I only had a very short time to visit Angkor before ending my trip in Asia, I decided to organize a rapid tour of the area with a very kind and helpful driver I found on internet:Chhim Seiha. He picked me up at the airport, took me with his car and all my belongings straight to see sunset at Phnom Bakeng before dropping me off at the hotel. Next morning at 04am, right on time, there he was in the hotel lobby ready and in a good mood to spend the whole day with me driving from sunrise at Angkor Wat, then breakfast nearby, then from one temple to another with lunch in between and by the end of the afternoon, I had been able to see most of what I really wanted to see. Then, back to the airport where, while waiting for my flight, I realized Seiha had helped me spend an awsome stay in one of the most beautiful places I had ever visited. Again Seiha, thank you very much and I have already recomended you to several people who need an honest and experienced driver to travel safely without wasting time and money. |

We were absolutely satisfied with the services, provided by Seiha, staying in Siem Reap on 03-07 Dec. 2007. He's a clever guy, very calm, with sence of humor. It was just nice to comunicate with him. His Toyota Camry is in good condition, Seiha's driving manner is very relaxed and easy. He has helped us with many other things during our stay by giving us advises or organising some trips to some not very popular among the tourists places.
It was a great time for us and we definitely reccomend Seiha to other travellers.

“The two ways od seeing the temple - just a funny cheat”
Me and my wife just returned from a trip to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The Cambodian part of the trip included six wonderful days in the Angkor area with our kind local driver, Chhim Seiha, which we found via his personal website. The Beng Mealea temple was the most amazing experience and the funny deceit about the 2 ways of seeing it (described below) only added to its attractiveness.
As we entered the area we noticed a small boy climbing on the top of the temple. He seemed to be playing hide-and-seek with us. At the same moment, a local guide showed us the "right" direction to investigate the temple: from the left side of it. After walking a bit around the temple another local guide showed us the "right" way of climbing through the rubble inside. After following his advice and getting inside we suddenly saw the small boy from before. This time he was surrounded by a group of other children appearing in front of us. They took care of our "safety" all the way inside.
Obviously when we got inside we met all the visitors that used the second way: the wooden platforms built outside. At the end of the "dangerous" part of the way we met the first local guide that pointed us this way, dividing the tip that was given to the group of kids. How ingenious and funny!
So don't miss the Beng Mealea temple and decide for yourself which way you want to see it, the normal or the "guided". |
